another great game from leapster. my son loves this game and doesnt even realize that he's learning math concepts ;) my son is 4 years old and has no problem solving the clues/problems. he tries even harder when he realizes that he can open up new areas of the game and "race" with McQueen.

My Mom was stumping her brain on what to get my son (2.5) for Christmas. I recommended a digital camera, since he loves Mommy's camera, and always wants to take pictures. So, we did a little research and liked the reviews on this one. She bought it. Let me say that my son has LOVED this camera so much, that in 2 days he took 385 pictures! The batteries have finally worn down and we're definitely going to invest in the rechargable ones as I can tell we'll be needing them. As for quality, I didn't expect much more than what we got. He's not yet 3, what could he REALLY take a good picture of? It's fun for him though to take pictures, and he loves "his camera". It is teaching him how to create memories and capturing the fun of life. He's obviously like his Mommy, we are trigger happy!!! Totally would buy this camera again and recommend it for any child within the age group. A child much older than 7 might be disappointed in the pictures. But for mine, it's perfect!!!

Hot LEGO Heroic Heroes of the Deep

Lego discontinued the Spongebob sets a few years ago, making Spongebob Legos very expensive to buy (if you could even find them). Luckily, they decided to bring them back. This set is a great value as you get three mini figures and vehicle for $15. The set has great play value and is very durable. If you like Spongebob and Legos, then this is a no brainer!! Thanks Lego for another great set.

Best Price Controlled Marine Cobra Helicopter Gyro SYMA S108G 3 CH Infrared Mini Radio

Controlled Marine Cobra Helicopter Gyro SYMA S108G 3 CH Infrared Mini Radio

This review is from: SYMA S108G 3 CH Infrared Mini Radio Controlled Marine Cobra Helicopter Gyro
I hold the S107's (2 of them) additionally a DH-1(basically a S107 by a different producer) They are both absolutely effortless to fly, right out of the case, following trimming the S108G, I think it might even be a small more effortless to fly. The gyro in this heli will keep a straight line. With the 107's they will usually crab a small to one side or the different. The S108G was exceptional right out of the container, but required a litte fine tuning. That took every last trace of about 20-30 seconds, and flies stunningly better. For the cost, this helicopter cannot be whip ($35.00) even depending on if it was more exorbitant, it could still be worth the price!!!!

Get cheap Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle 4 X 4 27MHZ

Review Tonka Ricochet RC Vehicle

My 6 year old nephew loves this and I will have to admit I had a lot of fun with it too. Sorry for the horrible audio in my video - between the 30 MPH wind we had today and my incessant cackling at watching him play, it might be better to mute this! :)

The grass was parched and dry from no rain, there were obstacles such as small rocks, yet this truck made it through the course almost 100% of the time. I think we got stuck just twice in loose dirt on a slight incline. My nephew set up a make-shift ramp made of thick 1" bark from a walnut tree that was recently cut down; the Tonka vehicle broke the piece of bark in half with no damage at all to the truck.

After I shot this video, we went to the front yard and ran it up & down the street - the range is decent, I think we had it 3 to 4 homes away before the truck didn't recognize the signal from the controller. While we were out in front, my nephew made some new friends as every kid on the block had to come outside to check out the new toy.

Our only complaint is the same as most everyone else: The battery needs to be reconfigured. It would be best if the charger could be directly hooked to the vehicle without having to remove the battery each time it needs charged. That's a pain! Battery life could be better also - it lasted around 30 minutes before it needed recharged. And then it takes several hours to re-charge it!

Even with the battery issue, I recommend this for any kid in the 6 to 10 year old age group.

best seller Cyclaws Remote Control Vehicle

best seller Cyclaws Remote Control Vehicle

An RC Car with Several Wicked Action Modes
The CyClaws from Bandai is no ordinary remote-control vehicle. This durable, dust-kicking machine is designed like a sleek racing car with monster wheels that transform into claws. Each tire features a locking mechanism that allows you to drive with the tire claws open or closed. The tires can be adjusted separately, making this RC vehicle versatile and open to experimentation.
When its wheels are locked in closed-claw mode, the CyClaws runs like a high-speed RC car that can stop on a dime. Drive this vehicle in open-claw mode, and it runs like a creature with a mind of its own. When its claws are out, the CyClaws performs flips, wheelies, spins, and other astounding stunts. Look out for the driver when the car flips--you'll see him on the car's undercarriage.
The wheels switch from regular to claw-like manually, via remote control, or when the vehicle bumps into obstacles. Though you and your child will be operating the CyClaws, it will still react and perform tricks spontaneously.

Simple Set Up and Easy-to-Use Remote Control
Bandai's CyClaws comes equipped with a battery pack for the car, a battery charger, and 9-volt battery for the remote control. Before handing this RC vehicle to your kids, you'll need to charge the 9.6-volt battery pack with the included charger for four hours.
Because the CyClaws is fast and may react spontaneously when it runs into obstacles, it's recommended for outdoor use on pavements, sidewalks, or turfs with short grass. The remote control's two joysticks allow for more nuanced movement of the CyClaws. This will come in handy when you want CyClaws to perform astonishing spins.

What's in the Box
CyClaws RC vehicle, remote control, 9.6-volt Ni-MH battery pack, charger, 9-volt battery, and instructions.

Playing Cyclaws Remote Control Vehicle

We watched the YouTube video on these and my boys wanted them so bad. I checked out a few of the other remote control cars that were equivalent to this and decided that these would be best. We ordered 2 and then found out that they are manufactured with the same frequency remotes and cannot be used near each other. Now I have 2 boys that want to play cars together that now have to be separated (one in the front yard and one in the back). I have owned remote control cars since I was a kid and figured all I would have to do is go down to a hobby shop and get a different frequency crystal, but it doesn't have the kind that you can replace. It's a good car but not happy that they don't make different frequencies. (and yes I contacted the company about it)
